Where to Eat in NYC This September

Daily Provisions: Danny Meyer's casual café concept known for their crullers is moving uptown; the shop announced it would be opening a new location in September on West 78th Street.

The Jones: One of New York's most beloved shuttered restaurants is back! Kind of. Restauranteur Gabriel Stulman has opened The Jones on Great Jones place in the same space where beloved eatery Great Jones Café once stood. The new restaurant pays its respects to the old establishment, with an entirely new menu and new vibe. Read More.
The terrace at Electric Lemon
Electric Lemon: The newest restaurant to open in Hudson Yards at the Equinox Hotel serves up light and refreshing dishes that aren't quite so nutritious as the in-room hotel dining menu, but still feel healthy enough not to ruin your post-exercise glow. Read More.
Catch Steak House
Catch Steakhouse: The classic steakhouse gets a major upgrade. The seafood restaurant group Catch is opening a new steak spot in the former La Sirena space in the Meatpacking District this Fall and according to its press release, it will "combine the authority of a classic steakhouse with the fun, sexy vibe of a Catch Hospitality Group property." Ok then.
Tomatoes at Mercado Little Spain
Tomatina Festival at Mercado Little Spain: At the real Tomatina Festival in Buñol, Spain, everyone in the town gathers to throw tomatoes at each other in what is perhaps the world's most famous food fight. While that sadly won't be recreated in Hudson Yards, Mercado Little Spain will be hosting tomato-themed celebrations for the first week of September.
