Fall Harvest Expands in 2021
This year, Fall Harvest planted roots in Chicago, marking an expansion of this interactive and festive day of programming. As our flagship resident event, Fall Harvest takes months of planning, but is so worth it. We’re proud to see these efforts come to life in service to our residents. Keep reading for a recap of this season’s gatherings.
New York City
In New York City, hundreds of our residents attended the fun-filled festival on October 23 at the courtyard of Abington House, nearby Hudson Yards. Event partners included Queensyard; Craft Studio; Dog City; Starry; CAMP; Boxed Water; Anheuser-Busch; and MC Wine.
Our recreation of a pumpkin patch, complete with hay fields and stalks of maize, extended over a large section of the courtyard. It fed into an arts & crafts area, where attendees could paint their pumpkins. We offered a selection of outdoor games, photo booth and live music. And while all residents savored a spread of season sweets and snacks, adults had their choice of wine and beer from two bar stations. A new and notable addition was Maniac Pumpkin Carvers, who transformed a slew of pumpkins into beautiful works of art, all in real-time for residents.
Chicago
In Chicago, more than 300 residents stopped in to enjoy the inaugural Fall Harvest, held at the iconic One Bennett Park.
We partnered with events team Commonspace Collective to plan this perfect Fall day. Dip and Sip Donuts provided a delicious array of seasonal donuts, while Von Poof Cotton Candy provided sweetly spun confections. NPK and Moore Landscapes framed a beautiful farm-like setting. Arts and crafts, games and train rides were all on offer for residents as a live band played the afternoon away.
The feedback from our Chicago and New York City residents has been overwhelming positive. As you know, at The Related Life we’re all about our residents and giving them superlative, unparalleled events to connect with family, friends and community. We are counting down to next year’s Fall Harvest experiences and can’t wait to see more of your happy faces enjoying the festivities.
