In honor of March Madness, basketball-loving residents and their friends headed to MiMA this weekend for the Third Annual Related Classic Basketball Tournament & Viewing Party.

The tournament was a full bracket– overseen by refs including Curtis Moses of Apex Athletics – with 16 teams competing to be champion on MiMA's full regulation-sized basketball court.

While the tournament progressed, friends and event guests watched from MiMA's M Club Lounge, where the Related Classic games were streamed. They also chowed down on a delicious selection of game-day food from Fuku and Whitman's, and imbibed nitro cold brew coffee courtesy of RISE Brewing Co., beer from Blue Point Brewery, and CORE Hydration courtesy of Life Simplified.

While upstairs, friends and family watched the games in real time on television monitors

After a nail-biting tournament, the final two teams were Team 85 and the Hell's Kitchen Chefs, who took home tickets to a Knick's game. In second place, Team 85 received a sports streaming package courtesy of Starry.

No doubt, watching the pros will inspire everyone to compete and win big again next year.
