Step Right Up to Related’s Very First Kids Club Carnival!
Come one, come all! To commemorate the fun and cheer of summer in full swing – we hosted an action-packed Kids Club Carnival! For this first-of-its-kind resident event, we transformed the courtyard of Abington House into an outdoor festival brimming with all manner of carnival-themed activities, games, and treats. Keep reading for a full recap of the celebrations.
A slew of artists and performers provided amusements to help our littlest residents get into the spirit of the afternoon.
Face painting was an extremely popular attraction. By the end of the event, nearly all our residents were adorned in festive colors and designs. Some even went for tattoo-like creations on their arms!
No carnival is complete without balloon art. Residents picked from an array of designs including flowers, swords and cartoon characters.
Residents got creative with multiple arts & crafts activities, including spin art, beading and bracelet-making. Thank you to our partners at The Craft Studio for providing instruction and fun!
The DJ kept the energy buzzing, joking with the crowd and playing family-friendly dance music. Residents captured the merriment of the day at our family photo booth.
As the DJ played, our residents danced and frolicked through our bubble area. Bubbles of all shapes and sizes flowed through the air, creating a spectacle of revelry.
The popcorn stand attendant doled out boxes of the freshly popped salty snack throughout the afternoon.
A lemonade stand ensured residents stayed hydrated during the warm day.
Those with a sweet tooth made a beeline for ice pops and cotton candy.
With the help of all of our The Related Life partners, the Carnival was a resounding success! We were thrilled to see our residents smiling during this beautiful day outdoors!
