This New Chelsea Rooftop Bar Promises to be the Next 11 Howard
What’s better than drinking cocktails on a rooftop? How about sipping them from the 35th floor of a skyscraper overlooking the entire city?
You can do that now at The Fleur Room, a brand new rooftop bar at the Moxy Hotel in Chelsea from nightlife legend Angelo Bianchi (the genius behind spots like the Beatrice Inn, the Jane ballroom, 11 Howard).
Taking its name from its location in the Flower District, The Fleur Room was designed by the Rockwell Group and features stunning views of the city skyline, as well as incredible botanical-themed interiors with a copper-clad bar and – the show stoper – a massive ‘80’s disco ball that once swung from the iconic LA nightclub Vertigo. The bar is divided into two sections; a classic bar where one can lounge and take in the view, and a wider, more formal room which is intended to host what will surely be some epic dance parties (DJs are planned for every Tuesday through Sunday night).
Serving garden-themed cocktails like “Fleur of the Valley” (Grey Goose, prosecco and fresh strawberries), and “The Talisman” (bourbon, honey chamomile syrup, and lemons), the Fleur Room opened its doors last week and is already attracting plenty of social media attention from the likes of cool kids and influencers like Josephine Skriver.
So deck yourself out in your finest party-going wear and head on over. After all, that disco ball isn’t going to Instagram itself.
