Happy Cinco de Mayo! 4 Cocktail Recipes for an At-Home Celebration
While you may not be able to go out for Cinco de Mayo this year, you can still celebrate the holiday at home with traditional cocktails. We teamed up with Cazadores Blanco, who sent over a few delicious and simple recipes you can make to complement your Mexican takeout (bonus points if you make your food at-home as well!).
Cazadores Margarita
∙ 1 ½ parts Cazadores Blanco ∙ 1 part fresh lime juice ∙ ½ part Light Agave Nectar or simple syrup or honey ∙ ½ part Premium Orange Liqueur (optional) |
1) Combine all ingredients with ice, shake and strain into a salted glass filled with ice.
2) Garnish with a lime wheel.
1862 Margarita
∙1 ½ parts Cazadores Blanco ∙ ½ part St Germain ∙ ½ part Agave Nectar ∙ ¾ part Lime |
1) Combine all the ingredients with ice
2) Shake and serve over the rocks in a 12 oz. glass
3) Garnish with lime wheel
Jalapeño Margarita
∙ 1 ½ parts Cazadores Blanco ∙ ½ part Premium Orange Liqueur ∙ ½ part Light Agave Nectar ∙ 1 part fresh lime juice ∙ 2 slices Jalapeño |
1) Combine all ingredients with ice, shake and strain into a salted glass filled with ice
2) Garnish with a lime wheel
Paloma
∙ 2 parts Cazadores Blanco ∙ 1 part fresh lime juice ∙ 4 parts Grapefruit Soda or fresh Grapefruit juice or grapefruit sparkling water ∙ 1 pinch Salt |
1) Add all ingredients into a salted highball glass filled with ice
2) Stir with a spoon
3) Garnish with a lime wedge
