What to Eat in NYC This February
Italian food seems to be what's on the menu this month, with two exciting openings from both a New York establishment chef, and a much-anticipated pop up all the way from Florence. And why shouldn't it be? When the weather is this chilly, all we want to do is curl up with a creamy or meaty plate of pasta and a rich red wine. Check out all the new spots and exciting deals you'll want to try this month below.
Quality Bistro: This new midtown spot from a former Daniel and Keith McNally alum serves up classic bistro favorites (think: Steak Frites and French Onion Soup) in a bright conservatory-style dining room featuring lush greenery.
Osteria delle Tre Panche Pop Up at Chefs Club: One of the most famous restaurants in Florence – known for having the "best truffles" – is coming to New York for 18 days only. While much of the residency is sold out, there are still a few tables left for Valentine's Day, so be sure to hurry up and book your table soon.
Da Toscano: One of the most anticipated openings this year is that of da Toscano, an Italian spot from Chef Michael Toscano – formerly of the closed restaurant Perle.
The Pineapple Club: A new kind of cocktail bar for the East Village, The Pineapple Club is much bigger than your average spot in the neighborhood with 140 seats. Come for Polynesian-inspired cocktails and small plates.
$7 Before 7 PM Happy Hour at The Tavern: Enjoy a stellar list of wines hand-selected by a master sommelier for just $7, every weekday at The Tavern from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
